Thread: Crush Lined up for Thursday MORNING

Ok so, I got a friend to crush us through normal/nightmare/and hell.

For those that dont know what a "crush" is, it is where you make a new character in "classic" mode, not expansion. you do this by UNclicking "expansion" when you make the new toon. This is done preferably on a new acc so that other clan members can go on the acc to lvl the toon to 40, after which it can be used as a bumper for new members with their new accounts.

A crush is done by getting this new toon rushed in "classic" mode through normal, nightmare, and hell. then once you get to hell act 3, before you do travinical quest, you exit the game, convert your "classic" toon to "expansion" then make a new game, and continue the rush into act 5.

The benefits of a crush is that since classic mode (non expansion) doesnt include act 5, you are able to go back and complete ancients and baal quests using "expansion" conversion and in both normal and nightmare, allowing the lvl 1 noobs to party up and get the quests while you do, even though they dont meet lvl restrictions for ancients. (they still wont get ancients quest, but they will get baals quest, allowing them to go into next realm at a low lvl. The expansion "re-rush" for a toon thats been "crushed" is called a Grush. (low lvls being rushed through norm/NM/hell via bumper)

ONE THING TO NOTE

A bumper has to be lvl 40 to get ancient quest in nightmare, so after you get rushed into hell via crush, lvl in HELL chaos runs to lvl 40. (way faster than normal realm lvling) this is why we ask you make a new acc for the bumper, so that if you dont want to lvl the toon in chaos, someone else can do it for you.

He works in the evenings and I have my last Final at 11am tomorrow, so the plan is to do this from 8am-10am PST Thursday Dec 8th.

Plz respond to this post if you can take 30 mins and make a bumper with me. again if you dont wanna lvl the toon to 40 to be a "bumper" thats fine. i can lvl it later. its harder to get a crush because not many people have classic toons anymore.

Perfect man. like I said, if you end up not wanting to lvl the bumper to 40, I am more than willing to do it for you lol. but if you could, that would be even better

Status Update:

Crush went out OK. Couple slight complications, 1 involving an r/d to yours truly :P and another involving 1 toon being left behind in act 2.

In the end, it went Good, enough... lol

We have 3 new bumpers now, that can be added to the list. 1 being lvled completely (by Ecold) but the others still need lvling. I had 1 from earlier in the week, so a total of 4 now.

I think I might make a sticky about the bumpers and there lvl status.

Hopefully soon we will post dates to announce when we will be Grushing new members that are starting there NEW ACCOUNTS. The post for each Grush will serve as a sign up sheet, and we will overfill the signup sheet in the case of no shows. Priority being signup order. lastly it needs to be known that we wont be doing a Grush unless the signup list/post is full, meaning 6 new members 1 Rusher and 1 bumper.
