Thread: Battlefield 3 and CoMpulsive = Possible win?

Hey, I've tried and I've tried and I've tried, as well as many others have, but nothing has worked...

I've boughten us CSS servers, Black Ops Servers and other shit numerous times over, but with a lack of discipline and dedication they just end up failing.

However, with the launch of the muchly anticipated BF3 game, I've decided to give it another go around.

Sometime this week I will be buying us a Ranked, Public 32 Slot BF3 Server. I've priced them out at roughly 45 bucks/month.

If anyone would like to help that'd be awesome, I'll most likely speak with deano but I'll probably just donate the 45$ through the website and have him use the money to make the server purchase. That way it might generate some other donations even if it's only 2$.

The game is still new, and with that, theres not THAT many well established servers and shit yet... So I'm hoping that getting in on the action early in the life of the game will help bring forth some active new members.

I've also taken into consideration that MOST people who play this game, have a decent computer and money to spare so to speak, so hopefully keeping the recruits at 18+ might also help generate some funds to be put to better use whether it be helping with webhosting or possibly getting another server.

For right now, I want opinions on what type of server it should be.

My personal opinion is that it should be HC TDM (But that's just because I am a fan boy)

I FUCKING DESPISE Soft Core pussies but, I'm open to opinions. I realize that restricting a server to HC TDM you only get to play about 25% of the game.

So what I was proposing is probably a Reguar/SoftCore "Mixed Games" type server... where it rotates between TDM, Rush, Conquest etc etc.

Anyways, let me know your thoughts so I can take everything into consderation before throwing up the server.
