Updates to Counter-Strike: Source have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Engine
  • SMX, GCF, and SYS files cannot be downloaded
  • Files whose extensions contain whitespace are not allowed to be downloadedFilenames that begin with path separators are not allowed to be downloaded
