Too many downloads to get in the server!

Hey i was playin in the server today and was see all these ppl joining the game but not getting in. and i was wondering why this was happening. so i ask a few of my buddies to join me in the server. and they were tellin me that there was too many downloads. I think thats why nobody plays in the server. b/c i see alot of ppl joinin in on the sever but nobody actually waits that long for the downloads to get in the server. Just see if you guys can check it out. Maybe that could be the problem for the inactive server.

I spoke to noir about a few possible reasons and he said he'd take a look at it soon as he had a chance. I don't have the info to the server atm becasue I reinstalled windows and lost the info. Other wise I'd do it.

that would be great b/c i really think there are a alot of pulg in to download and not worth the time for ppl to be fraggin in our servers.

I think what may be causing the most download time is the sounds although i have to try on a clean install of css and see what takes the most time.

you need to delete the ics folders man. there are too many pointless files!!!!!!!

I changed the download url so it should be faster let me know if anything needs to be done.

the quake sounds should have been disabled, so it should load faster.
