Thread: Thanks Salt!

I Just wanna give a personal Thank you to Salt for his generous Donation to the community we've known you for a short time now but you've taken the time and was thoughtful enough to show your support to the community by giving a generous amount of money to the community I know once I send some toward Phayze to help support the money he's put into the community he'll be just as thankful.

So if you come across Salt in vent be sure to thank him as well or post a Thank you in this thread. I know there are others that have donated in the past and I thank those people for their donations as well to keep this community running.

Remember we're a not for profit community and every dollar given goes back into the community. be it to help fund the services already in use or to extend our reach in the gaming community.

I will never ask personally for help paying for these services because I don't want people to feel obligated but I again say I will never turn a donation down if it means we keep our doors open for another month.

I want to point out that although you guys may see ads on our website all the time and they might even be a bit annoying, these ads haven't generated any money. This isn't saying we should get rid of them becasue they have been useless this is saying our website isn't fully being used to it's potential.

Also as a final note because Salt has made a generous donation largest yet aside form Phayzes server contributions over the last few years as well as Noir's this was a donation from a non admin member and a new one at that. I will be sending him a NEW Genuine Compulsive Gaming Poster 11x14 as soon as I have one finished and printed. the poster is in it's final phase

I have been working on this for some time now but took a break from it and have only gotten back into it due to our resergence of the community I will say that this poster will be of Photo Quality and 300ppi CMYK colors @ 11inches x 14inches or 3300px x 4200px so it won't be huge but will be pretty large. 53mb psd file. SO as soon as I finish it and get a price I'll put it up for final use.

Thanks Deano for the shout out. It wasn't a hard decision for me personally to make to donate to here. It's a good server, which I enjoy playing on, as well as using yall's vent. There are a lot of good people who support this community and I wanted to help support it as well.

I also didn't like the idea that you and Phayze pay for all of this by yourselves. It didn't seem right to leech off of you and Phayze's contributions to the community.

In the end, Compulsive is a good community. That's what spurred me to donate. The poster also looks bad ass.

Hey Salt, thanks for helping us out. We're tremendously glad your enjoying the community so far, we only aim to make your experience even better! As Deano stated, we'll never ask for donations, but we won't turn them down either haha. I personally don't mind paying for things like the server and what not because it's a game I spend a lot of time on, but donations do help, even if their small. If we had 3 members who donated 5$ a month, I could put that, along with my money, towards another black ops server. Perhaps a HC CTF or something.

Thanks salt for thinking of our community the truth it really does help the site and servers stay up and running and without contributions then everything comes out of pocket and becomes real expensive as things add up, Anyways i would like to thank you again for helping out the community.
