Thread: cG Needs Your Help!

Hey there, with the pretty successful launch of the new black ops server, it got me thinking of ways to mingle with the new members / potential new members.

The servers been fairly active and drawing alot of attention, but so far the turn over rate for regulars becoming cG members isn't the best. I know we've only had the server for like, 4 days, but my point remains the same.

We want to get more people in, the past has proven that in order for something to be successful, you need things to happen early in the beginning before it gets forgotten and just ends up on the back burners.

I've decided to change some of the adverts to attract some new base members, I've advertised that all cG members will get reserved slots, after all, it is going to be THEIR server as well.

Among other things I wish to try, I'd like to enlist the help from you guys too.

From what I can see / re-call, we have a few active members who play Black Ops, if memory serves me correctly, these people would be;

HotKarl
Luke Skywalker

Recently we managed to pick up a guy named COD Lagger (Vent name) and he's been recently active as well. Theres also been a potential member named Frizz kicking around too.

I'd like to have all of you guys post the times that you play (as a reply to this thread) so that we can try...not so much schedule, but generally set up a basic "play" time that we could all get on, and get the server active.

Right now the server is pretty active, but only during peek hours, and only when myself and LifeLine, or Deano and Karl etc, go in their and wait for people to join. Then it lasts for a few maps and dies off.

I want, and we want, compulsive gaming to have one of those awesome servers that's fun to play in, fair to play in, and is constantly full! We want our server to appear on peoples favorites and be hard to join because it's always full!

We want to make Compulsive, the place to be.

So, with your help, I believe we can accomplish this! Does anyone have any questions, comments or concerns about this? And who would be able to help?

Good Idea Phayze, I play every night after 9pm Eastern and remember the server is in Seattle So it's west coast times that people play on it.
There is rarely a night that I'm not online. I go from about 9pm eastern to 1am usually every night unless I'm off of work the next night but that can't be planned as I'm on a 6 week rotation from work so my days off are different every week.

Well i was on last night around 9pm Central.

Typically I play late at night after my son goes to sleep. During the week, usually between 8pm - 11pm (Pacific). On the weekends it varies but also late at night and perhaps around noonish.

i cant find the server :< i'd play more if i can play with ppl i know...
