Helmet - Shako, Why shako? Well shako adds +2 skills, 10% damage reduction, mana, life, and mf!.. and if you ber it thats even better.
Option - Crown of Ages could work here too, but the strength requirement is quite high.

Amulet - Maras Kaleidoscope, Maras because +2 to skills, 5 to all stats, and 20-30 all resistances.
Optional - Seraphs Hymn, This has the +2 to all skills and 1-2 to defensive auras, a great second choice

Rings - I've found for me that Buk-Kathos works and Wisp Projector works extremely well, bk adds life and wisp helps with souls, Sojs work great as well.

Armor - The obvious choice here is Enigma and i think you all know why

Shield - I used an up'd ber'd hoz, hoz is great because its adds a bunch to a paladins skills, Strength, life, and a ton of resistance, which is perfect. Ber for damage reduction.
Option - Spirit or Storm shield

Gloves - Magefists or Trang-Ouls

Boots - Sandstorm Treks or WaterWalks.. Up to you here, i recommend treks because of poison resistance and for poison reduction for wave 2.

Belt - Spider

Switch - Cta/Spirit

20 in vigor


Few in holy shield


Few in defiance


One in redemption


Rest is up to you.


Now for that pesky wave two, your going to need a pretty decent merc here, The rest shouldn't be too much of a problem, If wave 3 or 4 hurts you because of your fire resistance, hotspurs are a great option here.

Your Mercenary



For a helmet i suggest a 20s giant skull or an andys, the andies to be ral'd and the g skull to be cham'd and the other socket is up to you

For armor i suggest either ethereal fortitude or a high defense ethereal stone

For a weapon, i strongly suggest insight or breath of the dying. Insight being the better choice though. Make sure it is in a decent base, like an ethereal thresher, ethereal ca, or ethereal cv.

Also, if your merc isn't fast enough, use holy bolt on the magic immunes.
